SYMACH’s Machinery
SYMACH Palletizers & Palletizer Add-Ons
Palletizing machinery from SYMACH is engineered to efficiently stack and pack product bags onto the shipping pallet.
Each of these palletizing systems use a drag and drop method for precise placement. In this method the machine maneuvers each bag individually to ensure secure positioning. It repeats this process, creating a stack with tightly packed layers.
Once all tiers of the pallet have been built and packed together, the machine then lowers the pallet onto a conveyor belt, where it’s then taken to the pallet wrapping station.
The result is a neatly stacked, condensed, and wrapped pallet ready for its long journey through the supply chain.
In addition to being a versatile solution for palletizing, these machines are also user-friendly thanks to their touchscreen operation.
Although the MACH 2, MACH 5, MACH 6, and MACH 8 machines utilize the same stacking method, they vary in speed and capacity capabilities. The MACH 8 has the highest capacity, capable of handling 36 bags per minute.
SYMACH manufactures other machinery that aids in increasing the efficiency of your palletizing operation, such as pallet wrappers, label applicators, and strapping.

FILLstar Bag Filling System
Accurately fill product bags with the FILLstar Bag Filling System from SYMACH. This machine can operate with a single or double spout filler, which are designed for universal use with no mechanical changeover required.
The FILLstar system is suitable for a wide range of bag materials, including PE, PE-PET, aluminum coated, poly-woven, and paper. It can be used with a variety of bag closing styles, including bags with gussets. The machine can seal, stitch, and pinch
top closures together, creating a perfectly filled bag with a secure top.
The machine’s compact footprint makes it easy for anyone to add to their production floor. Operators will be able to minimize the number of machine changeovers performed during production thanks to the FILLstar’s quick-change design.

Conveying Systems
Efficiently transfer your products from one machine to the next with conveyor solutions by SYMACH. Our conveyors are commonly used in conjunction with a SYMACH palletizer but can be used to transport your products throughout the production line.
The conveyors can be designed with a vertical lift, allowing you to efficiently transfer your products from higher or lower levels. These belts can assist with quality monitoring, as they can pass the bags over a metal detector or weight-checking
machinery.
Why SYMACH’s Machinery is Important Your Production
Palletizing
Like many other end of line operations, product palletizing is often overlooked during the manufacturing process. This, however, is a mistake that should be avoided. If not properly palletized, your products can become damaged during their journey
to their end consumers.
Ensure your products are packaged tightly with a palletizing machine from SYMACH. Palletizing systems use robotic arms to strategically stack your products and then securely wrap them tightly with plastic. This helps to keep the products from moving
around and becoming damaged during the supply chain.
The SYMACH brand was acquired by BW Flexible Systems in 2014. Since then, SYMACH has developed a variety of high-speed palletizing solutions that can be easily integrated into your existing production line.
Filling
Inaccurate filling can lead to higher production costs, as a poorly filled bag may have difficulties continuing through its supply chain.
For example, a bag filled with too much product would make it more difficult to close. A poorly closed bag may leak product and require machine downtime to properly clear the spilled product, causing inefficiencies in your production process.
An overfilled bag can also affect how it’s stacked during transportation, potentially causing the pallet to lean, or damaging the bags stacked below it. This could result in a broken pallet, which means fewer products are making it to the shelf
or arriving to their end-user in poor shape.
